From devastating fires in Australia; to a global Covid-19 pandemic; to worldwide protests against police brutality and racism; 2020 has so far been a wild ride that has forever changed things for us all. As we recover and envision a more just and peaceful world, the arts are needed now more than ever. To all of our patrons, friends, cast and crew members: stay safe, be well, and work for the positive change and the justice you wish to see in the world.

The Moveable Feast
Paris – the 1920s. Ernest Hemmingway brought together a circle of American expatriate friends including: Aleister Crowley, Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein, F. Scott Fitzgerald and James Joyce and wrote about their lives, aspirations and interactions in the City of Lights. The work is considered by many to be Hemmingway’s greatest.
The Moveable Theatre Company
Los Angeles – the 2000s. A circle of creative, theatre-loving friends gather to pool their talents and create a quality theatre experience that takes theatre to where the audiences are, rather than attempting to bring audiences to a specific location. Talent is gathered from many locations and charities throughout Los Angeles can benefit from performances held as fundraisers.
Mission Statement:
The Moveable Theatre Company takes quality theatrical performances to audiences throughout Los Angeles, while using the performances to raise money for worthy charitable causes.
Most small organizations or clubs face the constant challenge of raising unrestricted funds for their worthy ongoing projects and programs. Usually operating with a limited staff or a small team of dedicated volunteers – there are only so many car washes, bake sales or raffles that can be done – and still the need for more operating funds remains. If you are looking for a creative alternative – consider hosting a show by The Moveable Theatre Company. Your organization provides the location and the audience - we provide the show - your organization makes money and has fun enjoying quality theatre performed by professional actors.
