Holly J Witham
(Founder, Artistic Director, Producer, Director, Actress)
Holly has directed Don Juan in Hell, ART, Two Times Three, Later Life, the World Premiere of Peter Adum's and Joyce Fante's Evenings With the Boys in the Backroom and Joe Musso's The Logophile. She Produced TMTC's World Premiere of Mary Casey's Surprise Valley. On stage, she has appeared in productions of A Streetcar Named Desire, Best Wishes, The Bad Seed, Independence, Morning’s At Seven, Shakespeare vs. Shaw, A Bad Year for Tomatoes and The Creature Creeps, among others. She has done costumes, props, sound and stage managing with a variety of local theatre groups. She studied acting with Director Norman Cohen at Room for Theatre in Studio City. She is currently directing TMTC's production of Homeward LA.
Keaver Brenai (Voiceover Artist, Singer Actress)
Raised in a military family and singing professionally since the age of 12, Keaver learned to apply her deep values of compassion, commitment and practice at an early age. Since then, her creative journey has taken her not only into a great voiceover career but also through: Live and recorded vocal performances with Grammy award-winning artists including U2, Michael Jackson, Andraé Crouch, Ice Cube and Daryl Coley. She is a public speaker, church music director, author of the book Grief Relief: Confession Leads to Recovery, singer/songwriter of the children’s CD The Color of Love is You, and 5 years as a promo network voice. Keaver founded the Brenai Foundation – a military Veteran focused non-profit with the “Linking Our Troops” initiative that supports military causes providing military-focused information, from military-based organizations, to serve our transitioning and retired Veterans.
Mary Casey
(Playwright)
Mary is an award-winning playwright who specializes in plays about the American West. A two-time finalist in Actors Theatre of Louisville’s National 10-minute Play Contest, Mary’s full-length play, Unspeakable Acts, was the 2008 winner of the Jane Chambers Playwriting Award. Her full-length play, Women and Horses and AShot Straight From the Bottle, received its world premiere at Echo Theatre in Dallas, Texas, and was nominated for best new play by the Dallas Theatre League. Mary’s one-act play, Surprise Valley, won the 2010 Zane Grey Playwriting Contest and received a staged reading by The Moveable Theatre Company. She is a recipient of the Butcher Scholar Award through the Autry National Center and is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
Cheryl Dent

This native of Los Angeles has lived, worked, and studied around the globe. On the stage, Cheryl earned an Obie nomination for her portrayal of Elsie in William Saroyan’s Time of Your Life, and she garnered accolades for her performance as Rust/Judy in the critically acclaimed Skylight Theater production of Lanford Wilson’s Balm in Gilead. On screen, Cheryl played the lead in the retro-genre thriller, Slaughterhouse of the Rising Sun, for which she won a Moldy® for Best Female performance in a horror film. JC Henning

JC is honored to be a part of THE MOVEABLE THEATRE COMPANY. Ms. Henning is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA, the Television Academy and UK Equity. Ms. Henning made her acting debut as Elga opposite Keith Michell and Jane Seymour in the ABC-BBC co-production of “The Story of David” in 1975. Other TV appearances include “Red Flag: The Ultimate Game” with co-stars Barry Bostwick and William Devane, “Fridays” with Larry David, “Days Of Our Lives,” “The Young And The Restless,” and “General Hospital.” She has appeared in over 100 short films and more than 50 plays. Ms. Henning has performed with the Los Angeles Opera in over 30 productions since her debut with the Company in 1987. She has also performed with New York City Opera, American Ballet Theatre, The Royal Ballet and the Kirov Ballet. Ms. Henning recently reunited on film with Barry Bostwick in the short film “The Roommates” which also stars Bruce Davison and Martin Kove. Ms. Henning is starring as Gloria in the web series “Gloria and Betty” which is scheduled to be released in May, 2019. She is an avid supporter of the humanitarian organization Remote Area Medical (RAM) which provides medical, dental and vision services to individuals who are not insured. She also supports Heaven On Earth-Perry’s Place cat sanctuary.
Kristina Hughes

Making her second appearance with TMTC as concerned friend Judith in Later Life (the first playing Dolly Grey’s friend Dorothy in Surprise Valley) New England native, Kristina Hughes has just recently wrapped a supporting role in the 3-D animated full-length feature film Black To The Moon. Kristina voices the character "Laika" a cosmonaut dog. She has also just wrapped the office comedy pilot Squabbles where she plays the role of 'Jennifer' - the recently made CEO of a MAJOR tech company. Her other credits include appearances in numerous network, studio and independent projects like Boston Legal, Old School, Frost/Nixon, Vegan 101and Green River. A review from Fangoria, on her lead role in Green River "...plays a wonderfully unstable 'Ali' and she shows a great range and stretch in character." You may also recognize her from projects with Lexus, Simply Bridal, Storitz and Rozerem. Christine Kludjian

After earning her BFA at Pepperdine University, Christine went on to study at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Milton Katselas. Television and Film roles soon followed and notable TV credits include Frasier, EverybodyLoves Raymond and The Larry Sanders Show. With well over a dozen films under her belt, she has worked with such talents as Rob Lowe, Tony Shalhoub and Wendie Mallick. She is also passionate about stage work and has appeared in many plays in Los Angeles, and as far afield as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Debra has appeared on Good Morning America singingwith The Caroling Company. As a comedian she opened for Jerry Seinfeld at the Improv and for Suzanne Edwards at the Country Music Radio Festival in Nashville. Favorite roles include Svetlana in Chess,Yucca in My Cup Runneth Over and Bobbi Lynn in The All Star Radio Broadcast of 1939. T.V. and film credits include Capitol, Days of Our Lives, the indie film Lost and the web series Nora Breaks Free. Theatre roles include Mrs. Fezziwiz in Marley’s Xmas, Diedre in Richard’s Cork Leg, Enid in A Chorus of Disapproval, and Jane in The Bedroom Window. Debra appeared as Ruth in Later Life and as the patient librarian Jane in The Logophile.
Monica Lee

Monica has been busy in the entertainment business since her first professional job in 1980 when she co-starred as Trina in Forty Carats at the La Mirada Civic Theatre. Since then, she has appeared in over 100 commercials, print ads, voice–overs, TV and film appearances. Monica also worked part time as a commercial casting associate for over 28 years, as she pursued her acting dreams. She has the delight of being the first woman to portray a UPS driver in an ad for their company. Currently you may see her in a “Legal Shield” commercial that is running nationwide, where she plays a grandmother. Her recent film credits include a supporting role in Posey, a short film that is just starting the film festival circuit in which she works opposite Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee, Sally Kirkland. In her spare time, you can see Monica working out with her latest passion, Cardio-Barre. She appeared as the colorful Esther in Later Life.
Karen M. Louis

Karen Louis best describes herself as an "actor, artist and enthusiast of all things good." Karen holds a BA in Theatre from The College of Wooster (Ohio), and an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College (Chicago). Karen has performed with theatres and galleries (and every place she busts into along the way) in NYC, Chicago and Memphis. She has trained at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute (NYC), IO Theatre (Chicago) and Striding Lion Performance Group (Chicago). With SLPG, Karen served as a company member, teaching artist, costume designer, and associate artistic director, developing the Night Roars Cabaret Series. She is very pleased and excited to play with the wonderful artists who are The Moveable Theatre Company. Alongside acting, Karen is an active arts advocate, painter, installation artist, writer... and mixes a mean drink. Shirley has appeared on stage at Sierra Madre Playhouse in The Good Doctor; Fairy Tale Theatre as Glenda, the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz, the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella and Bertha Ben Bulba in Treasure Island. She’s been in many commercials including ads for Toyota, Volvo, Japan Travel Log, Big Lots! and Liberty Mutual. A member of SAG-AFTRA, she also did Stand Up To Cancer, CBS, ABC & NBC’s cancer fundraiser. She has appeared as Glenda, the Good Witch in Cinderella at Christmas at Sierra Madre Playhouse. She studies acting at Zydeco Studios in Studio City and with the Sierra Madre Playhouse Players in Sierra Madre. She appeared with TMTC in Later Life and recently as Miss Sally in The Logophile.

TV appearances include roles in: General Hospital, Getting Personal, City and Billionaire Boys' Club (with her real life husband Joe Medalis). Her stage appearances include roles in: Six Characters in Search of an Author, Over the River and Through the Woods, Wild Time and at the Ahmanson, Dead End. She was a winner of a Dramalogue Award for her role in Serenading Louie at the Cellar Theatre in Los Angeles. She has appeared in Two, Times Three and in Later Life as the understanding hostess Sally.
Evelyn Ortiz

Evelyn is finishing her last classes at CSULA as a TVF major. She last performed in the stage production 12-1-A, and was nominated to compete at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. She was also part of a performance art piece with Marina Abramovic, in collaboration with the MOCA museum. She appeared in TMTC's Evenings With the Boys in the Backroom as Lupe.
Sandra Santiago

Sandra Santiago was born in Sinaloa, Mexico and is a graduate of La Sorbonne University in Paris. She has ignited the screen with superstars such as award-winning actors Danny Glover and Danny Trejo. Her most recent production is called Sangre Negra where she plays Erik Estrada's wife on his major comeback role. Santiago's commercial credits include working alongside Danny Glover for the international market as well as a national commercial for retail giant Walmart.Film credits include Pendejo with Danny Trejo and Without a Country by Rafi Gargis & Frank Aragon. Theater credits include Reservoir Bitches a take on the Quentin Tarantino's movie. Santiago also starred and produced the short film Chihuahua Day which shot in Los Angeles and received critical acclaim. Sandra will appear in Homeward LA as "Bobbie Jo".
Angela Schnaible

Angela graduated with a B. A. in communication arts with an emphasis in theatre from Minot State University and an M. F. A. in theatre with an emphasis in acting from the University of Mississippi. At a young age she knew that she wanted to be an entertainer, dancing from the age of three and performing in numerous musicals and plays while growing up. But it was in her undergraduate theatre department where she became determined to pursue acting in film and television as a career. Since moving to Los Angeles, with her husband, Chad, Ms. Schnaible has appeared in several print ads, commercials, and films. She landed a leading role in the award-winning short film, Psycho Hillbilly Cabin Massacre, in which she received a nomination for Best Actress in a Short Film at Method Fest 2008. She also landed a role in the hit web series, Gold. Angela and her husband are the proud parents of two boys.

Leslie hails from the New York City neighborhood of Spanish Harlem, also known as El Barrio and East Harlem. Leslie attended 3 colleges: Adelphi University, Temple University and Hunter College where she graduated. She is listed in Outstanding Young Women of America. After college, Leslie won a NYCHA (New York City Housing Authority) acting scholarship to study at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Her dedication and commitment led to further study with a scholarship from Marlo Thomas. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, she appeared in numerous plays, most notably: The Sunshine Boys with Dick Van Patten and the late, Frank Gorshin at the Falcon Theatre. Leslie made her film debut in: What's Love Got To Do With It. She will appear in Homeward LA as "Carmaleta".

Mariah Walsh is a proud Los Angeles native hailing from sunny Torrance, California. Mariah studied Theatre Arts at California State University Dominguez Hills, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree. Her passion for acting flourished when she starred as Lady in Orange in Ntozake Shange’s play “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.” Mariah now resides in Van Nuys, California where she continues to further evolve & nurture her craft. She will appear in Homeward LA as "Lynn".
David Datz

David Datz had a fair number of stage roles (e.g., Sean Keogh in Playboy of the Western World and Emmett in Forensic and the Navigators) in the San Francisco Bay Area and in LA, and a few episodic TV roles in LA. He then took a rather long hiatus from theatrical concerns, to work in the IT business as a systems analyst and project manager, and is just now returning to the stage. With TMTC, he has appeared as Walt in Later Life, as the ever-cynical Nathanael West in Evenings With the Boys in the Backroom and as Cyrus, a Civil War Ghost in TheLogophile.
Peter Adum
(Playwright)
Peter Adum attended the School of Theater at The University of Southern California. While there, he acted, directed, wrote, and stage managed various productions. After graduation, he finally ended up on the staff at the Mark Taper Forum. At the Taper, he adapted John Fante's novel Dreams From Bunker Hill for a their literary cabaret. Eventually, he and John's widow, Joyce Fante, decided to collaborate on the play Evenings With The Boys in the Backroom. For the past twenty years, Peter has been a teacher living in the Seattle area with his wife, Betsey, and their overly demanding cat, Ellie. For a recent Seattle one act play festival, Peter wrote and directed the play The Dudes of Summer.
John Balma

Raised to be a cowboy, John fled his family’s horse-drawn dreams and headed to San Francisco to pursue a career in theater. He studied at San Francisco State University and trained privately with David Dower (Arena Stage), Amy Freed (Stanford University), Patsy Rodenburg (Royal National Theater of Britain) and Marcus Stern (American Repertory Theater). He was a founding member of San Francisco’s Reflex Action Theater and The Z Collective, with whom he acted and directed for seven years. John performed in over 35 plays at Magic Theater, Berkeley Rep, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, The Asian American Theater and others around the Bay Area, as well as touring two seasons of famous American short stories with Word for Word in Europe. Now a resident of Los Angeles, John makes frequent guest appearances in TV and Film (Parks and Recreation, Grey’s Anatomy, The West Wing, Friends, Stick It, Super Bad, Just Add Water, Moonlight Mile). He appeared in TMTC’s production of ART, as Serge and in Later Life as Austin.
James DeAngelo

Jim grew up a military brat around the world. Most recent film and tv credits include the Festival award winning "Losing It","About Scout", American Horror Story and American Crime Story. Jim is a member of Van Nuys-Reseda Elks Lodge #2790 and its Radio Players ensemble.

During the pre-electronic ‘80s and ‘90s, Nick had a modest but fortunate acting career in L.A. in a nice mix of stage, film and TV work that included: Bleacher Bums (1½ years), Titanic (the Durang play not the boffo movie), Suburban Commando, Northern Lights, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, War & Remembrance, Dallas, WIOU and Snoops. Then came a goofy End-Of-The-Millennium Semi-Retirement to the Pacific NW, which, thanks to the siren song of L.A.’s creative chaos and some serious global mishgas, lasted barely a decade. Joe Estevez

Joe Estevez has been acting since the age of six and has since then appeared in nearly 250 films including; NotAnother B Movie, Turning Point, Doonby, The Perfect Candidate, Soultaker and Resurrection Mary. He is also an accomplished director and producer. He has appeared as L.A. author John Fante in Evenings with the Boys in the Backroom for TMTC and as The Statue in George Bernard Shaw's Don Juan in Hell.
Michael Gaglio

Michael Gaglio is known for his work on A Doggone Adventure (2018), A Christmas in Vermont (2016) and American Bandits: Frank and Jesse James (2010).
Harry Herman
(Actor)
Harry has appeared in numerous Los Angeles theatre projects, most notably at the Odyssey Theatre as Myron Berger in Away and Sing, and at The Company of Angels in Paradise Lost, two outstanding Clifford Odets plays, as well in several national television commercials, and most recently in the films, The T.V. Set and Nicholas Hosking's Go West. He played Zane Grey for TMTC’s world premiere of the award winning biographical play about the author, Surprise Valley, by Mary Casey and appeared as Roy in Later Life. Currently, he can be seen on YouTube in an Obama campaign add called I am Voting for O’Bama Because He’s Irish. His next feature, called Physical Therapy will be released late fall 2012.

Nicholas Hosking

Born in Malta into a Naval Family, Nicholas and his four brothers grew up in England, and The Middle East. In 1997 Nicholas moved to Los Angeles where his first Union job was an Estee Lauder commercial with Elizabeth Hurley, then Independent Films, Studio Films (We Were Soldiers, Old School) and Network TV (Alias, E-Ring, General Hospital, Jimmy Kimmel). As a voice artist he can be heard on numerous films including Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3, Whiteout and The Prestige. His short film “The King Speak” (a parody of Oscar-winner The Kings Speech) won Nicholas awards for Best Film (as Director), Best script (shared with co-writer Ewan Chung) and Best Actor (playing a King with Tourettes syndrome). For TMTC, Nichlas Directed Surprise Valley, was technical director for Later Life and has appeared on stage in Two Times Three, ART and The Logophile.
J. Todd Howell

J. Todd was in the Broadway Revival of Jesus Christ Superstar in NYC and performed with Tony Winner Lillias White. Art imitated life when he landed the role of jazz singer, Scott Pierson, in the feature film The Falls. J. Todd moved to the U.S. Virgin Island of St. Croix where he met visiting playwright Levy Lee Simon and performed in a reading of his Haitian historical drama For The Love Of Freedom. A few months later he found himself back in NYC performing a reading of another of Levy Lee’s plays, The Bow Wow Club. He got to reprise that role in its LA premiere. You may have seen J. Todd in his recurring role on Days Of Our Lives as Frank the Chez Rouge bartender. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication and taught at the two universities in his hometown, Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He’s a proud member of SAG, AFTRA and AEA. Joe's career encompassed film, television and stage. Films include: Sister Act, Baby Face Nelson, Memories of Me and Meteor, among others. TV appearances included: Less Than Perfect, Carnivale, 3rd Rock, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and That 70s Show. Stage roles include: Col. Pickering in My Fair Lady, Doc in West Side Story, Antonio in Much Ado About Nothing and Osgood Fielding in Some Like It Hot. He appeared at the Mark Taper Forum, Lincoln Center, L.A. Shakespeare Festival, and Ford Theatre in Washington DC. For TMTC, he appeared in Two, Times Three and Later Life. Joe was married to Actress Luce Morgan. He passed away November 3, 2018 in Los Angeles.

Shaun Duke Moosekian

Shaun has appeared in over fifty television shows and in numerous films (including Alexander Paine’s Sideways). He presently has a recurring role on the new 90210 series, and has had recurring roles on shows such as The Agency, The Unit, What About Brian, and The O.C. He was a series regular on the HBO comedy series The High Life. A graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, he is an accomplished artist. Shaun Duke is also an accomplished musician and singer songwriter and has been in numerous bands, playing at local venues in Los Angeles. He recently appeard with TMTC as the larger-than-life playwright William Saroyan in Evenings With the Boys in the Backroom.
Joe Musso

Joe Musso's plays have been presented in numerous theatres and have won several awards, including the Great Plains Theatre Conference Holland New Voices Award, the MTWorks Excellence in Playwriting Award, the HRC Showcase Theatre W. Keith Hedrick Playwriting Award, and the Gloria Ann Barnell Peter Playwright Competition. His full-length play "Treehouse" is a winner of American Association of Community Theatre's 2018 NewPlayFest. On August 10-26, 2018, "Treehouse" will receive its world premiere at Cottage Theatre in Cottage Grove, Oregon. His full-length play "Absinthe" was produced April 29-30, 2017, at the Morgan Opera House in Aurora, New York. His full-length play "Conk and Bone" was published in the 2012 Great Plains Theatre Conference Reader, and his ten-minute play "The Rollercoaster of Love" was published in Smith & Kraus' The Best 10-Minute Plays 2012. Many of Joe's plays for young actors are published through Brooklyn Publishers and Heuer Publishing, and Applause Theatre & Cinema Books included his play "Bam! Bruce Nehlsen

An Actor by passion and a Lawyer by trade, Bruce has been an actor in Community and Improvisational Theatre in The Sierra Madre Players, The Moveable Theatre Company, Actors Acting Acting and various other acting groups for the past 12 years. He has appeared in many plays and performances at the Sierra Madre Playhouse, the Victory Theatre in Burbank and various other venues. Favorite roles include the Lion in The Wizard of Oz, the General and Banker in Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor, Weller in D.L. Coburn’s play The Gin Game, Frank Costello in The Departed and Col. Nathan R. Jessup in A Few Good Men. On being an actor Bruce says, “As most things in my curious life, acting appeared one day as an angel on my shoulder and I have not been able to shake it since." He appeared in TMTC's productions of Two, Times Three, Later Life and recently, Evenings With the Boys in the Backroom.
Michael Perlmutter (Playwright)
Michael Perlmutter graduated from CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) producing both Motel Funerals and Glass Houses while in attendance. Michael's award winning work including Crimson, Directing Hamlet, My Perfect Alibi, and Surprise! have been presented in Los Angeles, New York, and London as well as other major and minor US cities. Other works include In Therapy, 1865, Office Games, Cries For Help in Crayons, Parking Lot Traffic, (An Americanized adaptation of) Anton Chekov’s The Seagull, and Random Acts, The Fall of Lady M, Open Meeting Closed and Three Dead Deep. Dale E. Turner (Actor, Singer)
Dale E. Turner is an American Stage, Film, Television and Voiceover actor with credits from The Coen Brothers’ Intolerable Cruelty and ABC’s Modern Family to numerous voiceovers and narrations on videogames and audiobooks. He has performed in plays and musicals across the country. Dale is an accomplished singer who now focuses his talents towards writing and producing films. He is the writer/producer/lead actor in the multi-award winning short film MY NAME IS LAMAR and is in development for his feature film MR. COTTON, a coming-of- age baseball drama set in 1971.
Danny Weitekamp

Danny is a senior at Flintridge Preparatory school and has lived in Altadena all his life. He programs and develops games alongside his studies, and intends to major in physics in college. Danny’s has two older brothers who attend graduate school in physics and chemistry. His Mother teaches presentation skills and directs plays at Caltech and his father is a professor of chemical physics at Caltech. Danny joins TMTC both on and off stage in Joe Musso's The Logophile.
